Educational Outcomes for Students do not Improve
Educational outcomes for students do not improve.
The Problem is Compounded
- Student outcomes do not improve.
- Students do not have expectations set for them, so they start to disengage from learning.
- Students also become complacent and do not strive for mastery as this has not been modelled for them.
- Students cannot achieve mastery or catch up.
- Students develop gaps in their understanding and need remediation.
- Students do not make standard progress so fall behind.
- Student mastery data stays the same or declines as issues related to effective teaching are compounded.
- The rate of students behaving in an inappropriate manner increases.
