Students do not Actively Participate in the Lesson
Teacher Kerri was absent for a couple of lessons last week so is keen to make up time by moving through lesson quickly. She decides to and simply deliver the content. Students are listening to her instruction, but many are struggling to focus and lose interest. Although she has taught the content specified in the program, Kerri has not successfully engaged her students or inspired curiosity. It is unlikely that her students will remember the information or be able recall and apply it later.
