Scenario: Does Not Contribute to a High-Expectations School Culture
- Step 1: Principal Tanya works with the school team to establish a vision, mission and values for the school, but they fail to make clear decisions, and the school team is unsure of the expectations.
- Step 2: Teacher Logan wants to model the values for his students, but since he is unclear on the school values, he decides on this own to use in this classroom.
- Step 3: Logan’s expectations for students aren’t as high as some other teachers. The lack of consistency from one teacher to the next makes it difficult for the students to know what they are supposed to do.
- Step 4: The lack of consistency creates frustration among the school team and the students. Student behaviour gets worse.
