Improved Educational Outcomes for Student
When the teaching team engages in professional conversations to improve and refine their professional practice and delivery of effective teaching techniques:
- Student outcomes improve.
- Students have expectations set for them and are engaged in learning.
- Students are conscientious and strive for mastery, so students achieve mastery and make standard or catch-up growth.
- Students know the expectations and behave in an appropriate manner.
- Students understand the lesson content and are able to make lesson progress
When the teaching team is confident in their delivery of effective teaching techniques and practices, they can:
- teach for the full timetabled period
- complete lessons in standard time
- meet the standard lesson progress rate
- achieve mastery with their students.
The teaching team can address gaps in students’ learning, ensuring they are firm in their understanding of lesson content and can demonstrate mastery in mastery tests and checkouts.
