What Happens When Holding Weekly Lesson Practice is Delivered with Fidelity

The Practice of Holding Weekly Lesson Practice

Weekly lesson practice prepare teachers and teaching assistants to confidently deliver their upcoming lessons to maximise student engagement and teaching time.

What It Achieves

By holding weekly lesson practise sessions, the instruction coach enables the teaching team to share their classroom experience, continuously build their professional learning through practice and increase student engagement.

More Detail

The instructional leaders drive collaboration by promoting the values of peer learning and encouraging the teaching team to work together and practise the delivery of lessons. By regularly providing opportunities for the teaching team to collaborate, teaching practice improves, which in turn improves educational outcomes for students.
