Scenario: The Process of How to Lead PHE Implementation
Bernard October 10, 2024

Scenario: The Process of How to Lead PHE Implementation
Step 1: Principal, Samantha, leads the positive high-expectations implementation at her school with compliance and fidelity.
Step 2: Samantha starts the school year by scheduling a week of intensive activities for teachers and students that teach and reinforce the school’s values, rules and routines. She completes professional learning for leadership and ensures teachers have access to the learning they need. She regularly visits classrooms and walks through the shared spaces of the school, monitoring students and providing feedback to teachers related to their positive high-expectations practices.
Step 3: She collects, reviews and shares behaviour data to support continuous improvement of student behaviour. The school team, parents and students know how well they are doing.
Step 4: As a result, support for the positive high-expectations practices increases, leading to further improvement and growth.
