When the school team shares responsibility for improvement:

• All members of the school team work collectively towards school improvement goals.  
• Leaders feel confident to frequently provide feedback and acknowledge successes with the school team.  
• The teaching team recognise the importance of providing student data to the leadership team.   
• The principal can confidently lead, manage and review the communication between school team members to ensure all are working towards school improvement.  
• All members are open to feedback to enhance their delivery of teaching techniques or embedding of practices.    
• Shared responsibility creates an environment where reflecting on one’s practice and committing to continuous improvement is the norm.
