The School Team Shares Responsibility for Improvement
When the school team shares responsibility for improvement:
- All members of the school team work collectively towards school improvement goals.
- Leaders feel confident to frequently provide feedback and acknowledge successes with the school team.
- The teaching team recognise the importance of providing student data to the leadership team.
- The principal can confidently lead, manage and review the communication between school team members to ensure all are working towards school improvement.
- All members are open to feedback to enhance their delivery of teaching techniques or embedding of practices.
- Shared responsibility creates an environment where reflecting on one’s practice and committing to continuous improvement is the norm.
