How to Take Notes of First-time Correct Responses

First-time Correct

The Process

  • Divide the lesson into parts – each exercise in a lesson is usually considered a part.
  • Individual turns are also a part.
  • Use a pencil to make a tick mark in your teacher presentation book on any item that students did not answer correctly the first time.
  • Calculate the per cent correct. If there are six words in exercise two and students read four of them the first time with no errors, the amount would be four out of six, which equals sixty-six per cent.
  • Make these calculations after the lesson.
