The Process of How to Participate on the PHET

Teachers implement Positive High-Expectations with students daily. The coach will organise and facilitate the PHET meetings based on the data and observations provided by the teachers. It is important that teachers do the following to ensure PHET meetings run smoothly:

• maintain a Positive High Expectations mindset during the school day and observe any discrepancies in school culture, student behaviour, and systems and practices
• maintain accurate records and prepare data to help the coach build the agenda
• be vocal on the team by sharing observations and recommending ideas for improvement
• follow through on implementing interventions that are decided by the PHET.
