What Happens When Participating on the PHET is not Delivered with Mastery

For a team to operate smoothly and produce positive results, all members must be active participants. Teachers, in particular, are instrumental in ensuring that interventions are implemented consistently and successfully. If a teacher is not invested in the process or does not know how to participate on the PHET, that trickles down to other aspects of the team dynamic.

The Problem is Compounded

If a teacher does not participate actively on the PHET, the team will not have the perspective of that teacher when making important decisions regarding interventions. As a result, interventions may be put into place that would be unrealistic for that teacher to carry out or would not align with the issues that the teacher is seeing on a daily basis.
