What Happens When Practice Pass Assessments is Delivered with Fidelity

The Practice of Pass Assessments

Passing Assessments evaluates the teaching team’s delivery of techniques and practices to acknowledge what they deliver to mastery and provide certification.

What it Achieves

Passing assessments demonstrates a team member’s mastery of techniques and practices that are targeted to their role, and highlights area(s) of improvement. The team member receives accreditation that can be used towards their teaching credentials upon passing.

More Detail

The teaching team completes modules on the Mastery Teaching Pathway and practises their newly acquired knowledge and skills in the classroom. Once the teaching team feel confident, they record a demonstration of the lesson. A certified assessor, who is a member of the leadership team, uses the Practice Observation Form to assess the teaching practices on the video. Professional development enhances their effective teaching, which directly leads to improved student learning.
