What Happens When Technique is not Delivered with Fidelity
When teachers do not ensure that students have the required materials, students are not prepared, and the teacher cannot effectively complete all parts of the lesson. Learning time is lost.
The Problem is Compounded
Without the required materials, students are unable to participate fully in the lesson. They need assistance locating learning materials or wait while replacement materials are sourced. Students are not provided with the time to practise skills and firm their understanding, which affects mastery and the ability for students to make standard growth or potentially catch up.
