The Process of How to Provide Improvement Updates to the School Community

Once a term, the instruction coach: 

• reviews the data from the term’s School Improvement Review report and drafts commentary within the first week of the new term. 

The principal: 

• adds an influencing note to parents on how they can support the efforts.
• meets with all team members to discuss the Term School Improvement Review Report and the key findings so that the teaching team can talk to parents about it.
• disseminates the findings to parents, families, and community leaders.

Meets with local community leaders in -person to review the report within a week of issuing.
