The Improvement Progress is Not Being Analysed and Shared with the Community

Instructional coach, Cheryl, has been working with the Ameira school team on the implementation of their SIP. Teachers have been trained in how to integrate the Positive Behavior Model effectively and with fidelity.

However, as the year progresses, teachers are more frequently absent which has resulted in Cheryl being asked to cover classes most days. With this increased pressure, there is no time in Cheryl’s schedule to analyse the weekly data that needs to be shared with the school community. When parents do not know the progress the school /student is making to reach the goals set, they will not be able to positively support the SIP.
