Improved Educational Outcomes for Students

When teachers schedule parent classroom visits, the parent gets to observe their child learning, hold discussions with the teacher and celebrate their child’s achievements. Having the parent involved improves the students’ educational outcomes.

  • When the teaching team engages in professional conversations with leaders, peers and parents to improve and refine their professional practice and delivery of effective teaching techniques, student outcomes also improve.
  • When the teaching team is confident in their delivery of effective teaching techniques and practices, they can teach for the full timetabled period, complete lessons in standard time, meet standard lesson progress rate and are confident inviting students’ parents to their classroom during their teaching time.
  • The teaching team can address gaps in students’ learning and motivate students by including their parents in their learning in the classroom.
