Timely Data Is not Available for Analysis and Action

Principal, Bill, has asked teachers to collect behaviour and attendance data on a weekly basis as part of the SIP. Despite multiple reminders, teachers are not entering the information in the school system in a timely manner. Bill is often sending individual reminders to teachers to submit their data so that the information can be analysed and tracked for immediate follow up, however the data is being collected too late for the leadership to respond and to celebrate successes.

Principals and instruction coaches are not able to analyse and action data in the same week as accurate and timely data is not available to them. Teachers are not prioritising the SIP and are not committing to improving the learning culture of the school. In turn, students are becoming complacent and are not following positive high expectations as this has not been modelled for them.
