Teacher Uses Data Wall to Show Progress

Agatha, the teacher, is meeting with a parent to discuss Christopher’s progress. Christopher is a student who has been struggling with his basic addition and subtraction facts. Agatha discusses the different strategies she has been using to help Christopher: flashcards, games and direct instruction. He practises his facts daily and Agatha has been administering daily checkouts. Agatha draws the attention of the parent to the data wall where they can see his progress in a graph. She also pulls up his Student Profile and celebrates other successes and makes another plan for areas he may be needing remediation.
