Student Expectations Are Unclear and Need Defining

Craig, an experienced teacher, usually spends time explicitly teaching rules and routines to his class at the start of a new school year. This year, he got a promotion and has been very busy with paperwork. His classroom is disorganised, and his students are not clear on what is expected of them. This chaos is affecting their learning.
