Self Confidence in Learning Abilities is not Built

Using Individual Turns Before the Group is Firm

When the teacher does not ensure the group is firm before providing individual turns, students cannot give a firm response. Students are not able to build self-confidence in their learning abilities.

The Problem is Compounded

Students are not provided enough opportunity as a group to master the skill. Students are not able to give a firm response. Students’ self-confidence drops because they are not able to answer correctly.
