Misaligned adjustments chosen from the Adjustments Matrix could mean the student doesn’t receive the necessary accommodations, hindering their ability to access the curriculum effectively. Similarly, if instructional strategies from the Instructional Strategies Matrix are not appropriately selected, the student may struggle to grasp essential concepts, impacting their learning outcomes. Misguided modifications from the Modifications Matrix might lower expectations or overlook opportunities for the student to engage with grade-level content. Moreover, inconsistencies in planning due to a lack of mastery could lead to confusion and hinder the effectiveness of the Individualised Plan over time.
