Using the answer key in RMSE-LA 4-5

RMSE-LA 4 and RMSE-LA 5 both provide separate answer key booklets that provide guidelines for every lesson.

What students write, appears in black italics. Instructions to the teacher appear in regular black type. Round brackets () around a word or group of words indicate that the part is optional. Brackets [] around a word or group of words indicate that an answer can be considered correct if the student expresses the idea but not the words shown inside the brackets. Either/ or {/} indicate acceptable alternatives.
