Scenario

The teacher will demonstrate to students how to feel voiced sounds on their throat. The teacher will demonstrate and say, ‘Press your fingers lightly to your throat and say, “vvv”.’

The teacher will let students know an unvoiced sound does not vibrate like that. The teacher will tell students to say, ‘fff’ and notice that it doesn’t vibrate this time.

Students will touch their throats and say, ‘vvv’.  The teacher will tell students, ‘Do you feel the vibration in your throat, that is a voiced sound.’
