Instruction coach summarises the Weekly Data Report highlighting action recommendations.

During the meeting

During the meeting:

• Principal endorses coaching actions; they may provide additional supports based on their observations.

• Principal raises each action plan task, checks the follow-up section and raises outstanding and priority issues.

• Principal notes whether each task was actioned or not, what the barriers were and sets when it will be completed. Principal provides solutions for any unresolved high impact issues that the instruction coach has not been able to resolve with teaching team members.

• Principal and instruction coach compare data to the SIP targets to determine how well the school is doing.

After the meeting:

After the meeting:

• Instruction coach informs the teaching team of their updated action plan tasks and communicates supports being provided.

• Instruction coach updates the school data wall with the data comparison to targets.

• Principal promotes the SIP action plan tasks in staff meetings.

• Principal acknowledges successes in events where the teaching team and parents are present, like weekly parade, school events or community meetings.
