Spelling Mastery includes a range of key components that work together to help students achieve success in spelling.

Three approaches to teaching spelling are used in Spelling Mastery – whole-word, phonemic and morphemic.

Skills are taught in tracks where students learn skills gradually until they can apply them independently.

In the next lesson, you will learn how to set up a group of students for success, which includes giving the placement test and organising the classroom.
