The success of Writing lessons will be ascertained by students demonstrating: 

  • higher outcomes in writing by successfully completing and 
  • participating in the national standardised tests (NAPLAN) 
  • improved confidence and enthusiasm in their approach to writing tasks. 

This means ensuring that the writing curriculum teaches students using the best pedagogy to produce the best learning outcomes.
