Individual turns rationale

Individual turns provide the teacher with a continuous check on student mastery within the lesson. Teachers call on students for individual turns following choral responses on an exercise.

Before individual turns are provided, the teacher ensures the group response is firm. Firm means students can go through an exercise with no errors.

A reminder for individual turns is at the end of most exercises. Teachers new to RMSE LA K highlight this part of the script so it is not missed.
