Allows Students to Actively Engage in the Lesson

Evidence-based lessons are designed to enable teachers to deliver learning in the most efficient way and maximise student growth. Students who are remediated and retested can achieve standard growth, accelerate or catch up.

How it works:

When paired with an energetic pace, a ‘choral response’ increases students’ participation. Students must be listening carefully for the cues and responding one second after the signal is given. Off-task students and disruptive behaviours are reduced when students respond to effective signals and engage in a choral response. Lower-performing students also build confidence as they perform well in front of their peers.
